Tell us a little about what you do at JAKK Media?
Anything news, general content, and social media, I’m all over it. I report, write, strategize, and build the news component of BarBend. You will see my work primarily in the news section, however I will also dabble into reviews, fitness, and recent health research.
What’s a favorite project so far?
It’s tough to choose! I would say my favorite project has been just helping the news section of BarBend grow. It has been rewarding to see the need and want for more record-breaking lifts, wild diets of the world’s strongest men, and competition results as they trickle in.
What is something you think will change about digital content in the next five years?
I think the pace of digital production is already so fast and it’s been impressive to see how content just never seems to stop coming through the channels. However, with the high demand for more and more news, I think it will be interesting to see how digital outlets continue to produce and stay on pace when the consumer demand continues to grow.
Are there any skills you want to learn or develop more at JAKK?
I would love to learn more about SEO and the best practices involved.
All of JAKK’s sites feature collaborative teams. What’s something impactful you’ve learned from another person at JAKK Media?
I feel like every single day I’m learning something new from a different member of JAKK Media. I would say most recently I’ve learned that even if I’m not an expert yet at a said topic, I soon will be. David has really helped motivate me and encourage me to dive deeper and ask questions necessary to make sure every piece I publish is not only right, but the best and most informative of it’s kind.
